NC State University Transportation Parking Credential Purchase Agreement
This purchase agreement entitles the authorized purchaser to park one vehicle at a time in a
designated campus location, regardless of the number of vehicles registered to an account.
Assignment of a parking credential (physical permit or virtual permit) is not transferable.
Sharing, selling, trading, or exchanging any University parking credentials is prohibited and
subject to fine(s) and/or suspension of parking privileges.
Employee and Student refund amounts shall be prorated based on the week the permit is canceled.
By proceeding to purchase a parking credential, you are agreeing to abide by the terms and
conditions set forth in the University’s Parking Ordinance which may be obtained at
https://policies.ncsu.edu/policy/pol-07-60-01/, understanding that violations of this Ordinance
may lead to a citation(s) and/or revocation of parking privileges.

EMPLOYEES – Payroll Deduction of Parking Fees: Payroll deducted permits will have their parking fee deducted monthly on a pre-tax basis at
one-twelfth the value of the annual permit fee. Employees may continue to be responsible for
the parking credential payment until they submit a cancellation request to Transportation.
Transportation reserves the right to terminate parking credentials without refund for
employees who have left the University without submitting a request for parking cancellation.

STUDENTS - Proximal Housing: Student residents of privately owned proximate student
housing facilities located along Hillsborough Street between Rosemary Street/Shepherd
Street and Cox Street/Woodburn Road or living north of Hillsborough Street and South of
Clark Avenue between Enterprise and Horne Streets are not eligible for an on-campus parking
credential. Additionally, students who reside in College Inn, Valentine Commons, Stanhope,
2604 Hillsborough, or University Towers are not eligible for an on-campus parking credential. By proceeding to
purchase a parking credential, you are agreeing to abide by the terms and conditions and must
forfeit any parking credential if you knowingly purchase a parking permit as a resident of
proximate student housing.
